I am a huge advocate for animals and have spent a lot of time working with different animal rescue organizations over the years. Even when I am traveling I will reach out to local rescue organizations to volunteer at their facilities and get to know how these groups from all over the world differ in their approach to learn as much as I can. I bottle fed puppies at the GSPCA in Grenada and got to see them go to amazing forever homes, and helped volunteer at the DARG rescue center in South Africa, walking their dogs through the beautiful land surrounding their facilities.
I currently volunteer as the Adoptions Coordinator for a local NYC rescue where I help match our available animals with the perfect adopter. This includes interviewing adopters, references and home checks. I also write content for the rescue site, animal bios to help get them adopted, and whatever collateral might be needed for events or social campaigns. I work with an incredible team to help get as many animals off the streets and into homes as possible. I would love to work with more animal related clients, especially those helping improve the lives of animals around the world!
